The range of school events is very colourful. With great ambition – school plays, films – we commemorate our national holidays. Year after year, there are opportunities to go on professional excursions at home and abroad, to play sports regularly, to take part in professional competitions, sports competitions and camps. In our technical school, we offer physical education classes with a fencing curriculum. From 2018, we will be organising a summer camp (Birtok camp) to revive old traditions.

• Every year, the Hungarian Equestrian Federation organises a driving licence exam in Mezőhegyes in the disciplines of driving, dressage and dressage – we prepare our students for the exams
• PREGA, robotics and drone technology, 3D imaging and printing
• continuing the defence education based on the military history of the stud, with its long tradition of military training
• the first Hungarian cavalry band was formed in 1927 from soldiers (war orphans) in Mezőhegyes – based on the school’s cavalry training, we would like to revive this tradition in cooperation with the Mezőhegyes Town Brass Band
• sports facilities: horse riding, gym, TRX training programme, wall climbing, gymnastics,
• fencing, pentathlon, handball, football, volleyball, basketball, floorball
  preparation for competitions in vocational and general subjects
• dormitory community-building training sessions led by invited speakers and professionals
