Training structure of the school
Based on Act XCI of 2016 on the National Stud and Educational Farm, the medium-term training structure of the school aims to provide theoretical and practical agricultural vocational training, education, further education and adult education in Mezőhegyes, which is traditional, but at the same time in line with modern needs, demand-driven and adapted to the needs of employers.
The mission of the institution’s adult education is to meet the training needs of the region and of the maintainer, supporting objectives of national economic importance. Adult education is able and capable of providing training which is of outstanding value to the region and which cannot be delivered profitably as self-financed training.
The school started its adult education activities in September 2017. The full documentation system of the adult education unit, quality manual, document templates, and contract templates have been developed. In 2018 and 2019, our trainers have delivered Animal Care and Golden Farmer training courses on the basis of an external partnership agreement and with grant funding. The training courses resulted in income for the maintenance company from the rental of the practical space and for the school from the rental of the classrooms.

These former qualification pathways have been removed from the school-based training courses by the new Vocational Training Act and are not even listed in the Register of Occupations. These courses, which are of great professional importance and have a long local tradition, are now being kept alive through adult education courses. From the 2021/2022 academic year, the courses will be offered free of charge.
